not by my own accord. Ill be at the 1101 tomorrow. While Im off pending the drug test results. Then after that comes back clean I get to go back until the investigation,

I can't imagine leaving a railroad job, given the benefits, retirement package and job security.

I'll see you at the cigar lounge, I should be most of the morning and up until about 1:15 . . . when I'll have to leave for Fencing Practice at Lowell HS.

False alarm about a bomb at Van Buren train station this morning. It caused 90 min delays of the rush hour trains.

State of Indiana's A.T.C. just notified us at the cigar lounge that we are not allowed to smoke cigar AND drink coffee, soda, water, etc or eat snacks.

We can sell coffee/soda/water and you can take it outside and drink it in your car, but you can't drink water/coffee/soda WITH your cigar.

We apparently have to file some sort of report to even allow people to smoke cigars! We've been operating cigar shops, with smoking in them, for 6+years and now they come up with this new law. WTF?

All I know is that we can't allow smoking in the cigar lounge until we get state approval to do so. That will take a couple days to get. We can still sell cigars but we have to sit outside at the picnic table to smoke them.

Oh, and we can drink coffee/soda/water outside at the picnic table while we smoke outside.

-OR- we can drink coffee/soda/water INSIDE while we are NOT smoking.

-BUT- when the state says that we are officially allowed to smoke inside again, then we can NOT drink soda/coffee/water while we are smoking cigars.

Apparently this is happening to cigar lounges all over the state. I guess we've been lucky, we are one of the last ones that the state has "helped" in this way.

It's physically impossible to smoke and drink at the same time.
I mean you can try but it's really messy.
