I didn't know Purdue had that much software. I know IUN has a great hookup for free software if you can get access to it. It's almost worth taking a class there to get a student login to the software.

How can people have so much trouble driving? I swear it must be the first winter ever.

Anyone know if they still gives discounts for software like microsoft office if you are a student? Im talking about Purdue Cal by the way forgot to mention that...

Check the bookstore.

I don't know if PUC does or not. I overlapped 3 years between PUC/IUN, then one year PUC solo, then 5 years IUN. I don't recall buying software from PUC, but I do remember buying office and a copy or twelve of Windows from IUN for like $10 ea.

I built up nearly 10k posts on another forum, but that was over 14 years.

I don't talk much in real life. At least, not nearly as much as I do online, but damn.

It isn't the kids' fault. They don't get to choose when to stay home and when to go in late.

Our society does tend to coddle children way too much though.

There was a lady that would give account access to the website where you can download stuff as a student.
A lot of the software that was available is super discounted, and sometime free.
I am not sure if they still have that though.
I'll get the info for you tomorrow when I go into work tomorrow.

I don't talk much in real life. At least, not nearly as much as I do online, but damn.

u have been official disowed by jedi for loving the cubs and worse being one of those fans that ride the south shore during the week while us commutters are going/coming from work.

Would've expected better performance out of a .380 in that size. Early production teething problems? Cheap ammo? Just seems like a really awful 7yd spread. I'm no glock fanboy, but I was pretty interested in this one. Oh well. Back to hunting down the old .380 Beretta I foolishly sold...

Short answer: Yes
Longer answer: It depends on what you're looking for. The bookstore has a brochure listing much of the software available. Oftentimes non-Microsoft products can be found cheaper than the discounts offered through the school, but you have to look hard.

Through my school I was able to get office for free.... Definitely saved me a ton there..... not sure if I still can get it... Next time I'm on my desktop I'll check

Hey Dan, I put a grip wrap and heavy spring in both of our LCPs and it made a real difference in the way they shot.....

Its not the recoil, I actually feel that's plenty manageable. I hate the snap of a 380 in a blowback pistol, but with a bigger gun and a heavier spring, its better.

Its the 8-1/2 mile long trigger and inability to aim the lil bugger.
