I did shut the car off. Almost F'd up. My battery needs to be replaced. Listened to radio, maybe half an hour. Car barely turned over when i needed heat.

New battery bought. Nice today was payday. I actually have money.

LMAO, no, I'm a noob to guns until about a month ago. But I was still quite the sportsman (woman) when I was a kid.

Now I need new tires. I used the penny test with Lincoln's head. I'm okay for now, barely.
But I wonder if I should just buck up and get the tires to help with traction.

Yes, just get the new tires now, before you regret it.

Probably good advice, since "regret it" is code for "your car tried to mate with another car".

Actaeon, not only do I have the 686 with the 6 inch bbl, but I also have the Dan Wessons with 8 inch bbl's.... and I've been known to be a bit of a exhibitionist at the firing range.... but who's going to care at a firing range about proving how long a gun's barrel is.... really ?

After my ride back from Hobart tonight in this stuff I think it's time to get my 4 wheel drive looked at.... no matter how much I turned the radio up it still kept clanking in the front of the vehicle all the way home....

Melensdad, I'll have to make a ride down to the club house soon then.... more brass will even make the wife happy... :-)

Was going to go out but I don't think sooooo, there wasn't any plows out when I was coming home and I seen a couple of those police guys trying to get their ticket numbers up....

    Behold proof of barrel length....

    Clanking? That can't be good.

From what I've seen of the police, they're working overtime on the dumb***** that haven't learned to drive in this weather yet.

ya when the auto 4 wheel drive engages it starts clanking in the front end but I've noticed that it does engage and I do get better traction with it clanking. I also noticed that it does it less when I put it in 4 wheel high.... but it's time to see a mechanic I guess cause this winter looks like I might need the 4 wheel drive more than not.... and the radio isn't loud enough to cover up the sound... LOL...

Yes, cause turning the radio up makes the problem go away.

Working afternoons at the Sears Auto Center at the mall with a snow fall and all the people with bald tires coming to get the cheap tires to get enough traction to make it home. It was always hurry up and never thanks for getting them back on the road.

I learned, never get cheap tires.
    They are never CHEAP.
    Get the tires that last.
    Get road hazard warranty.
