my understanding of kindey stone is your body has to pass it out and until then no much can be done for you.

I've heard beer goes a long way with making them pass but this is from someone that says they have passed many of them over the years... No experience from me on this one...

According to this person the beer adds fluid to the mix along with a relaxing function on all the muscles involved... but this is completely hypothetical though...

Drink lots of water. You need to flush the pipes.

The ER can ease pain and find out how big it is. If the stone is too big it may need help getting out. They can break it up.

All this talk is giving me sympathy pains.

My dad had a monster stone and spent days in bed until he passed it. After that he changed his diet and lifestyle drastically because no one wants to be dick-birthing spiky marbles, and he hasn't had one since.

Pop is one big culprit for kidney stones. Drinking water regularly helps keep things clean, but not drinking pop will elp immensley.
