If this is still available, we still need 100 rounds for the North Porter County Picnic and Youth Shoot coming up on the 25th (week from Sunday)
This would be really appreciated by the club...

It is available, and It's yours. Just send me a pm and we can figure out a pick up.

Went out looking for 9mm ammo in Portage with no luck.

I was walking in in to Meijers in Portage and had a lady that works there run up to me and ask me.

    Her; Who are you?

    Me; What do you mean?

    Her; Are you security?

    Me; No

    Her; You have a gun.

    Me; I'm licensed to carry.

    Her; You are scring me.

Me; Do you always run up and question the thing that you are scared of, or are you just curious
    about it?

At this point she is just looking at me like a deer in the headlights. I told her to have a great day and I went on my way to shop.

I am afraid of that man with a gun, so I must walk up to him and tell him how scared I am. Seems logical.

I don't see the problem. :dunno:
Off at six, gets you to Winimac in time for the meet. Starting at 1800, gives you plenty of time to stay, shoot and socialize. :):

I knew someone was going to say that! After being on top of a 350 degrees rock crushing cone all night welding, I don't think I'll be in the mood for anything but a shower and going to bed.

sounds like a good winter job. its better than a coke battery that ive been on its up to 1700 ° and you have to go inside it to work.

This is one of our low temp jobs! When we get steam turbine castings in, we preheat those to 700 degrees, then get inside to start welding. Plus we usually use fluxcore arc welding with 3/32" wire, which can reach up to and in excess of 6,800 degrees at the core of the arc. But yeah, its a pretty good winter job.

My boss is an @$$hole :(

    Gee, I wouldn't know what that's like.

It's so typical to hear about it after the fact.

Stand Your Ground law 'attitude' concerns Tallian : Porter

Indiana has been a SYG state since it's inception.
It was only codified with those words when the politicians saw the other states doing it, and said, we have to do that too.
The fact that we already were doing it didn't bother them, because the words Stand Your Ground weren't there.
    So they added it.
    But there was no change.
