he has been mia for a while now.
I have PM'd him several times in the past few weeks and have not heard back from him. I have not seen him on here either ... only in the classifieds.

The LC fair grounds are owned by the county, a political subdivision. As such, they cannot legally regulate firearms on the property.
The LC fair is put on by the Lake county agricultural society, a private group. As such, they can legally put any restrictions that they want on firearms (or anything else).
So, if you carry at the LC fair it is not illegal, but they can legally ask you to leave.
