Interesting. I keep hearing nightmare stories about Botach. I easily have over a hundred orders from them in the last couple of years. This is only the second backordered item in all those years of ordering. They have never messed up an order. My orders have never taken more than seven to ten days (what I expected). On occasion, I have received an order within three days.

The problem with Botach is you never know ordering from their site if it's actually an in-stock item. Found out recently OpticsPlanet is the same way on some things, but they at least ship quick when they do get it.

I'll still order from Botach, the prices are great on some thinngs, but I never expect it soon.

The first thing I ordered from them was an ACOG and it took 3 months, and yes, I did bug them about it constantly.

Try Blythe's in Valpo. They have a pretty nice shop, and they have a pretty nice indoor range. We have NWI INGO members who work there too.

Best outdoor range that is reasonably close to you would be in Winamac.


If you want to meet up with some of us, there is an "Open Carry Cigar Night" in Schererville next Thursday (July 25th) from 6pm to 9pm.

There are also monthly Meet & Shoot events that you should check out, we use the Winamac range for those events, next event is in August, you just missed the July event.

I shoot at Jasper-Pulaski quite often. Nice place, quiet, no range officer to speak of. No shade, bring a pop-up canopy if you want (Ialways do anyway).

Oakwood Gun Club over in Wheatfield also has a great selection of reloading supplies.

Going to be testing out the new "carry in your car" provisions of the Illinois law today. Have to run to Steger from St John. Planning to come back and maybe go to Cabela's to "cleanse" the stench of Illinois off my body, maybe pick up some ammo?

She is fine now.
She was doing some cooking and she accidentally gave herself a HUGE cut from the top of her thumb to the bottom of her palm.
I was just getting home as it happened.
Once I saw the cut, I quickly got the bleeding stopped and got it wrapped and took her to the hospital.
4 hours and 16 stitches later we were back home.

She said she feels no pain and she decided that she was able to go to work today.

I would still show your LTCH or telling them your LTCH number. There is no case law in Indiana that proves this. I think this can get LTCH holder in some trouble not showing it or telling them your license mumber that are outside of INDY.

According to the law you don't have to carry it. You just have to be licensed. I think BillB has the old wording of the law to show you the diffrence.

There is only .45 handgun ammo at cabela's and every flavor of rifle/SG ammo you want.
I was there on Monday BTW.
