The front end on my Touareg is making some funny (not in a good way) noises.

Looks like I'll be taking it to the dealer for them to bend me over and rape me like a little girl. Nothing cheap about the service on a VW. They are fantastic vehicles while they are working, but when they need to be repaired they tend to run up costs very quickly. I wish I knew of a good VW mechanic. Levin Tire in Highland has done some work for me, and at about 1/2 the price of the dealer, but they won't do some of the bigger repair jobs on a VW and I suspect this may be one of those issues.

Remember when the idea was to make police cars OBVIOUS. Now it is all about making stealth police cars. Even the marked ones are more stealthy. Lower lights, non reflective markings, etc.

I don't know. A county tax hits everyone and I'm not sure the won't revolt over it. It's a political suicide topic for a LAKE COUNTY politician similar to what Social Security (the topic) is at the federal level.

You have to actually EARN income to get taxed.

Besides, isn't Lake the only County without one in Indiana?
