hum... but don't they issue you ARs when you are active?
So how are you suppose to learn/be familiar with the weapon system when you are not at reverse/active if you don't have one at home to practice with? :dunno:

Technically jedi we use m16s/m4s. :D. And we go to the range about 3 times a year for 3 days each time. Probably not enough but before we deploy we go thru weeks of training to make sure everyone is combat ready

In case anyone was wondering, Cabela's is starting to get sporting rifles back in stock. Just 2 days ago, we had 10 DPMS LR308s, and 4 WASR 10/63s come in with no one's name on em. Woohoo!

    Dansgotguns,
I know things are different cause you're Army, but on a Sub, things are a lot less formal and military. I'd have had no problems reading off a bunch of the info on INGO, even to the Captain.
And if it had no effect, I'd have no problem telling them to FOAD.
Then again, Nucs have a lot of leeway.

omg u finally done selling guns?
long tine no c on here

I know right? I've been burned out on talking about guns lately haha. I'm ok now, they gave me a day off.

Here's something cool: Last night a friend brought a bag of parts over that used to be a Ruger Single Six (older, three screw model). We fought with it, and tried to make sense of the pieces, but were lost. My wife says "Gimme dat" and with nothing more than the original 1960s era parts list, she brought this fine shooter back to life in less than an hour. I am so proud.

So How do we get invited to this "ClubHouse"?

The NWI 'unofficial' INGO Clubhouse is actually the cigar lounge on US30. Its a common hang out for several INGO members. Even when no INGO member is there its usually got plenty of gun friendly folks in there. There is free coffee, water and pepsi in the lounge, along with a big screen TV over the fireplace.

So here I am sitting in Illinois at my battle assembly for the army reserves, listening to these liberal NCOs talk about how the 2a gives you the right to own a firearm but not to carry one....I hate this place. Can't even say anything because they are my NCOs

You can disagree, and even point out the errors of their ways, if you are either respectful, correct, etc. Or, just say, unless they really want to get into a debate, then they should not talk politics or religion. Usually what i tell people when they start talking about either. Heck, ill drop by, im still active for the time being, waiting on my medical retirement.

Well no Kidding. Nice to know. PS I am a Smoker so I should fit right in. :rockwoot:

I'm usually around in the mornings and stay until just after lunchtime. Wednesday and Thursdays seem to be common days for INGO members to stop into the lounge. We have free WiFi so some members come in and get some work done while sitting there, or surf for porn, I'm not really sure.
