I was abtucted by some crazy tall guy and his 5 year old daughter and forced to pose in that pic. Lol.

Yes gb Iwas at the issac walton merville (all spelled wrong I'm sure) conservation club. Lone and his family, me and my son went to get a tour of it. I'll write more on it in a bit still organizing my thoughts and on moblie so its hard to do long post here.

I had to stop for air in one of my tires. Typically I stop at family express since they do have air but its .75 each time. Gggrrrr I should just buy an air compressor big enough to handle this job (but that is a whole other topic) in any case I stopped and they had an air hose and it was FREE!!! Nice!

Me, I'll be spending tomorrow at University of Chicago in Hyde Park. Unarmed. Melen is being recruited by the school to do go to college. Never had a tour of the campus. It will be interesting to see how many of the campus police "emergency call towers" I can count while walking the campus. They claim its safe. I don't believe them. Rumor has it the school as the largest non-municipal police force in the USA.

I had a $99 NcStar and quite literally threw it away after my first range session.

Now I'm using this one:

I don't recall the cost, but I do know it was NOT terribly expensive, maybe $250ish? I'm very happy with it. I did swap out the super-cheap mini-tripod that came with it for a SLIGHTLY better compact tripod that is more stable.
