I was doing 450+ lbs on the squat machine at the gym yesterday and my legs and butt are still burnin'

Weighted core exercises do nothing for me. I do the full 400 lb stack on the ab iso machine and it's too easy. Built up from carrying my butt around for almost 27 years, pole climbing/ladder carrying when I was at AT&T, who knows.

Did any of you guys make it into this group buy?

    USMC backpack Group Buy

Intro to USMC ILBE Pack System

I wanted to get in on this but the waiting line appears to wrap around the state. Anyone interested in working out details to get some of these packs for NWI INGO ... or possibly executing our own group buy? I am willing to drive downstate to pick up any packs if there is still room for us to get some.

Let me know what the final cost for the packs and your cost. I'm hoppen for two or three.

What's really weird is I can actually wear shirts without an X in the size now.

Also, these 40x30 relaxed wranglers are even a bit loose.

Triple post but it's really weird, because from my top down perspective, it looks like I haven't made much progress, but I obviously have since I'm down 2 sizes since October-ish

Because the wranglers are really 42 or even 44 inches in reality.
Have you measured your waist yet?

18 months ago when I went from a 44 to 38 in label pant size is when I found out the truth. The labels are a lie! It' any where from 2 to 4" more. So a pant label of say 38 is really 40 measured.

Buy one of those measuring tapes that they sell in the craft section and measures your waist to find out what the real measurement is.

Yup, I notice that some brands are close to true and some run large. "Kirkland" (Costco) blue jeans in size 36 are tight on my waist. "Lucky Brand" size 36 are so loose on me that they fall down if I'm not wearing a belt. "Wrangler" seems to be somewhere in betwen those two brands.

Oh it gets even WORSE for women's/lady cloth.
But I'm not about to tell t-star that she is ..... ;)
Actually it was the women's industry that started this BS back in the late 80s I think. You compare a pair of pants from now vs 80s or 70s and there is a big difference.

What come companies found out is that American's are getting FATTER but are not willing to buy cloths 2 or 3 sizes up, physiological reasons. So instead the cloth just got bigger and everyone got "fooled" so to speak.

Simialr to our current debt limit in congress.

I don't think he really has any point because all I wear are wranglers, Levis, and occasionally my cintas uniform cargos from work.

Sizes might vary from brand to brand, but they don't tend to vary within a brand.

I'm down two sizes in both brands and the uniform pants are like frickin parachute pants on me now.

It's the same in shirts too.

I have a bunch of those $6 Jerzees t-shirts they sell at target and wally, the larges are like an xl in other brands. I could probably swing a medium in those.
