The good news, the kid had an appreciation for the classics. Bringing up the Classics on Disney is what he's appreciating. Now, my banter of a Dinsney movie must contain a parent's death pointing out is growing glaring eyes from the wife.

1st, there is always the danger they shut the place down. Never say, "They'll never do that". They said the same about South Works. There is no more South Works.

2nd, be prepared for a strike. We haven't had one since the 80s. Cause everyone complains about the contract, but then they don't want to do anything because they have a new house, new car, and putting the kid through college. But that doesn't mean it will always be that way.

3rd, sick leave pays better than nothing, but it will be a severe kick in the pants if you go on it for a few months. It only pays a percentage of your base pay, at 40 hours. No sunday pay, no overtime pay, no holiday pay, no incentive pay. The money I got for sick pay, basically covered a little better than all the dang co-pays I had for doctors. And, as you get older, your chance of needing sick pay will go up. Or just the longer you work there, the more chances you'll have something happen to you to put you out the gate for awhile.

4th, discipline. Even if you're a model employee, you'll encounter a mini-Hitler sooner or later. I was given 5 days off (during 12 hour days) for "failure to perform assigned task". The "assigned task" was working under a suspended load. Working on a suspended load is a violation of the "cardinal sins", which you get fired for. So I was given 60 hours loss of pay, for not breaking a rule that gets you fired.

    There's more, probably.
    But, you need to save.

One if our foremen can be a bit of a mini Hitler. I've learned to just say "Yessuh massa" and begrudgingly do the thing and just ***** about it to my coworkers and griever later. If it's a safety issue, our USR is awesome. One call and I dunno how but he seems to teleport over to ***** them out.

Baker square food was gross and very small portions for the price. Their pies were ok but nothing to go gaga over.

As for those disney movies (of old) meh... all of them were stolen ideas from books or foreign movies.

Yeah, mediocre food. I used to like their "take 4" or something like that breakfast where you could choose 4 things between all kinds of eggs, meats, and pastries for $6.99. Lately the eggs and meat were all cold and not cooked properly, and they started skimping on the small things like butter and coffee creamer.

jedi has a $10 off cabela/bass pro shop coupon. Must spend $40+ to use it. Does anyone want it before jedi post it for all of INGO. If so you must post a hello kitty theme pic saying a sentence with the words
    "Like"
    "Hello"
    "Kitty".

    :)

Got the same email today. 1 for Cabelas and 1 for BP. It's funny cause the BP one says $10 off $40 in headline but below it says $10 off $20.
Think I'm gonna go pick up a couple boxes of 6.5creedmor today

This one was a mailed coupon.

Ahh. That means I should get 1 in the mail as well. Probably tomorrow then. I like these coupons. They work well if you spend right at the minimum for the coupon. BP and cabelas both have herters 129gr 6.5 creedmor at $15 per box. I'll buy 3 boxes and get them for $38 after tax and coupon which is .63 per round. Not to shabby.

Are the numbers the same on them or are they customer specific? I haven't checked my email or the bill box.

Trying out The Sugar Bowl in MC that 1775 recommends. I'd definitely recommend it too. Has to be one of the all-around friendliest staffs, which is greatly appreciated.

My emailed coupons have the same number so probably only good for 1 time use. I usually get the mailed coupons 4 times a year or so.

It's a one time use coupon and its linked to a customer ID number. Thus they can track you and what you buy. jedi gives his away so cabelas tracking the customer ID but the items purchased are all over the place. :) boating, firearms, women cloths, mens cloths, etc...
