Supported some locals today. We're trying.

Pat's Liquors is doing a mystery craft beer 12 pack for $15.99 (if each were individually sold at $2+ that's over $25 easily). Was kinda fun.

    I'm not sure what happened.
But I'm in the bedroom, on the computer, and I heard a loud noise from what sounded like the kitchen. Sort of like a pan that fell into the sink.
So, grab gun, check the house. Nothing. Sit and listen. Check garage doors. Back in the bedroom, I hear a car door shut out front. I look outside and see a silver or gray car backing out of the drive, and heading away.
    So now, I'm wondering.
Did someone knock on the door weird? And I just scared them away?
It didn't sound like a knock.
    Front door is locked. (still)
So I go out the front door, and look in.
Someone could have seen me cross the hall, but it's dark enough inside I doubt they could see more than me crossing the hall.
I don't think they'd see the gun and be frightened. But I could be wrong.
I looked on the porch. No packages dropped off. Course, I haven't ordered anything.
There's a couple random tools on the porch that I have failed to put away correctly. They are still there as far as I can tell. Nothing more than a wrench or screwdriver.

    So now I'm perplexed.
    I hate being perplexed.

I looked up an old friend a few years back and his picture came up on a Florida murder warrant.
