Not paid for me. My last day at work is the 3rd. I made sure to get my 2 weeks in before the 4th so that I wouldn't have to use PTO for the 4th like we usually do. I think I'm getting back a full two weeks of unused PTO pay.

Wait a minute... you guys get paid off days ? If I don't work I don't get paid and I only get the portion the government see's fit to let me have in the first place...

I might have to try working for someone else and get some of these paid holidays you guys are talking about...

Now on a 4th of July note... I'm expecting a lot of lead and copper in my gutters again next thursday.... and some personal time in the basement wednesday evening of course...

You are always working for YOURSELF, but sometimes you let other people call the shots on how/where you work and under what conditions too. But the net benefit should always be for yourself.

Not me.

But I have my own range. Mowed it out to 200 yards on Monday. But I need to rebuild my shooting bench ... or maybe just build a brand new bench.
