Back home from doing the Disney thing. Out of the 8 times we entered the parks (went back for an evening 3 days), I had to walk through a metal detector once. Didn't carry in the park, but would have been easy to do so. Some bag checkers were more thorough than others. On the bright side, the kids had a great time.
