PC... When the ranges first went to RO's years ago I met the first range nazi at Willow Slough. After that experience I've never been back to that range.

Winamac and JP have been pretty good for State Ranges...

Actaeon... I feel your pain on that one... for the last two weeks I've been running 24/7 with this new store setup... Keeping up with my regulars and working this new project has me sleeping maybe a hour or two each night and just keep beating away at the stuff that needs to be done... We did 4500 feet of cat5 last weekend and this weekend will be another 4500 feet and a lot of data entry too....

but it is always feast or famine when working for yourself....

Ericwp.... Bass and Buck is worth the trip if you want to shoot distance and not have to be a member or spend big money to use such a range... Good family run shop too... SIG dealer and class 3 ... Oh and a huge archery shop there too...

I have a feeling that I met the same one and I hadn't been back either. We argued about if I had to have a permit to carry guns to the range. Yes, the idiot that only permit carriers could transport guns to and from the range. Then after that, he only let us shoot one person at a time despite having plenty of available room. Yep, no idea how it is ran now, I'd rather go where I'm wanted.

Got screamed at for firing shotgun slug off the hip on the 25. The hole in the center of mass made no difference.

Hopefully I can make it down that way to shoot this spring/summer. I've got some 308's begging to be shot at distance. Unfortunately the 338 lapua magnum is going to have to wait until next year
