Hey, got a favor for everyone who is a Facebook friend of mine. I'm officially looking for a job teaching in the public schools. I just cleaned up my Facebook timeline of profanity, political posts, and gun-related posts. Yes, I would love to feel free to express the views of myself and my friends, but it is what it is.

Could I ask that anyone who tags me or posts on my page keeps it clean/gun-free/politics-free? (In other words, puppies, rainbows, and silly quizzes?)
    :wow:

I'm not going to purge my Facebook. I have too many friends on there that I have no contact with anywhere else. I feel good about it now with it sanitized, and I don't really feel like I'm trying to be someone I'm not. We don't have to show all sides of ourselves to all people at all times.

Sneaky Pete will be making the rounds

    Dear Friend:

I write to invite you to attend one of my 2016 Town Forums that will be held throughout Indiana’s First Congressional District from January 14 through January 16.

I hold these Town Forums every year to provide you with an update on my legislative actions to keep our nation safe, defend American workers, and support transformational investments in the future of Northwest Indiana. But more importantly, I want to hear about your issues of concern so that I can best represent you in our nation’s capital.

Below are the dates, times, and locations for the 2016 Town Forums. If you are unable to attend and ever need any assistance communicating with a federal agency or ever have any issues of concern, I encourage you to contact me at any time through my website, athttps://visclosky.house.gov/contact-pete.

Additionally, should you wish to receive periodic updates on my actions on behalf of Northwest Indiana, I would encourage you to sign up for my e-newsletter, athttps://visclosky.house.gov/contact-pete/subscribe-e-news.

Look forward to seeing you at a Town Forum!

    Sincerely,

    Pete
