Well I have a miss matched yugo already but would like a nice one all matching with accessories to collect. I've read that the Russians are the best of the best, next romanian with the chrome lined barrels, then the yugo and Chinese. I guess everyone will have a different opinion on this. What makes the yugo the best choice for you? Seriously question

A friend of mine explained it to me like this. Yugo firearms, like the SKS's and AK's, came out after the Russians and other Eastern bloc countries had them for sometime. When the Yugo's designed and built their weapons they were well aware of the problems others were experiencing with theirs, and thus were able to built a better firearm arguably.

Maybe your time frame is shorter, but I don't think I can agree that Munster has always been bad. I think it started going that way in the early to mid 90's.

Yes my timeframe is shorter then yours. It was the early 90s that I experienced it while starting high school.

How much is to much to spend on fireworks?

    > then $0.07 per fireworks as that is the going price for .22lr.
I would rather shoot then blow up fireworks.

I hate to say it, but I'm going back to Directv and AT&T. Yes, Comcasts' internet speed can't be beaten, but the tv is pretty crappy and it seems like every month I'm arguing with them about the bill, and all the upcharges are ridiculous. Having slower internet is worth the $100 a month it'll save me, not to mention fewer aggravations with the bill.

    You watch TV? Why? :dunno:

Has Jedi been cross dressing lately?

I know he is a fan of the Divvy bike program. Just didn't think he'd b!tc#slap a firefighter.

Not me... But she is going to get in "a lot of trouble" for what she did. In IL when you ride a bike you are actually considered driving a vehicle and are required to obey the rules of the road when you are on the road. So the county could request to have her driver license suspended/revoked/points added/etc..

lol. just got back from Boston, they have the same kind of bike program. Of course he's a fan... freeeee govt' funded monies putting those bikes out there for the socialists to enjoy!

    ouch.

Boston is just one in a long list of US cities that have bike sharing systems in place.

Everything metal is decosmolined and squeaky clean...as far as I know. (After the initial wipedown) HOT water and Simple Green works pretty well. Had to take a toothbrush, pipecleaner, and toothpick to some nooks and crannies. I'll probably take the heat gun to the stocks tomorrow then reassemble. All the bores look pretty sweet. *Boy, I hope I have all the pieces!* The neighbor came over and visited and wants a SKS now. hd69heritage, you better get on it. :):

Looks like I'll be following your method next week. Just "won" a 1960 romanian sks. Went with this one over yugo for collectability. I'm still going to get a yugo maybe later this year.

From listing, "This one came to me heavy in cosmoline. I cleaned it at least twice and got most cosmoline off, but you will still find some. I would strongly suggest taking it apart and cleaning the gun again before using"

    Congrats!

Cleaned it twice eh? If true, it should make your job way easier!

:ugh: Guess who forgot to turn off the air compressor in the garage. You'd think I'd of reached down when I was blowing off the last rifle part.

One nice thing about the Simple Green is it reacted with a lot of stuck on cosmoline so you could see it in the water and you knew exactly where to use the toothbrush. It was a cloudy white color. Maybe because I went just a tick heavy on the ratio mix. :dunno:
