Tomorrow I attack the barrels and reassemble. All the metal soaked up some oil. I'd recommend disassembling the recoil spring in an SKS (depressed it and cosmoline came out
). It still was caked. Glad I did that even though I know reassembly is a bear. To much going on today and sweating the stocks took quite a bit of time. Wood conditioned. Then there was that splinter. 
Hopefully I'm done tomorrow...

Just an update.
I've been approved to try the Botox treatment to try to prevent migraines. I need to call Tuesday to make an appointment.
Sleep tests say that I stop breathing 11 times an hour. So Wednesday I go get a CPAP machine. Sleep Doc kept stressing the importance of carrying through and using the machine, and not ignoring it. I told him I'm using it to try to prevent migraines. That's all the incentive I need.
Tuesday I see the eye specialist about my right eye again. Pretty much don't see anything changing, literally. So the doc just will tell me that I'm just going to have to live with not seeing anything out of the top of my right eye.

The CPAP machine isn't so bad. Had mine for about two years and it takes some getting used to. Lot of people use them. I like CPAP.com for cheaper supply's, only downside is they don't take insurance with good prices. Shop around.
