Bunch of obviously impaired drivers on the road last night coming home from work around midnight. One doing 15mph on Rt 41, another straddling dotted whites, another hit the curb several times trying to go into the turn lane too early.

Got home and heard breaking glass right as I walked into the garage... some dumbass put his truck on the roof by driving up a tree in the neighbor's yard

Sooooo I got to go shooting today and also got to play with a friends new pistol. It's a Sphinx Compact, and she was very interesting to shoot. No rise, no muzzle flip. Groups were nice and tight and the gun was a real performer...

So I went to go and buy some ammo online today and put in my credit card info and BLAM..... card denied because of insufficient funds.... Now this is a work debit card that gets money loaded on it from Chrysler every now and then but I knew I had cash on there. Come to find out the card was used in CA and China.. WTF you think someone would have called to check on that right? Hope it doesn't take too long to get me to get the cash back.. I got guns and stuff to buy:n00b:

I got some tweaking to do on two AR's this week and then I'll be looking for another range trip to see if I fixed anything or made things worse...

Well everyone should have a pistol too. I prefer the Beretta 92's and 1911A1's although that Sphinx yesterday was very interesting. I also had a chance to run a FNX in 45 acp which shot really nice but had a horrendous first shot trigger pull.

Snap, I am very happy to hear even though you are looking at those flat and non curvy pistols you didn't mutter any four letter words.... LOL...

The Sphinx is just a CZ clone type pistol with some different cosmetics.

Looks like I'll be getting a CZ 75B Omega for my birthday later this month. :woot:
Just curious but why are you getting one with the Omega trigger system? Most people prefer the standard model, not the Omega system. Clearly there is a market for the Omega trigger system, so this is not criticism, just a question.

That whole thing is a crock of :poop:. Federal grants to pay cops OT to give tickets.

I was wondering why the Hammond popo were all over 80/94 the last few weeks. I guess now I know.
