Ha! All quite here. Just some boomers in the distance.

Finished the wiring today. Needed a fan in the guest room. Back to the vanity tomorrow. Counter tops next week. The end is near!

Fireworks ???

Just got home from watching the fireworks in Beecher. They have a nice festival for the 4th, it was DOUBLE +++ the size of prior years. Apparently many of the smaller towns in IL have discontinued fireworks/festivals so Beecher was especially crowded.

Fireworks were very good.

Best part of the show was the church that programmed its bells to play patriotic music during the fireworks show!

She's got an 86 rebel. Tried to get her to get something bigger but it wasn't going that way.

They seem to be a great first bike...and super simple to work on if needed. We got mrs T a cb250 Nighthawk for her first one...it's the same motor as the Rebel but in a "standard" frame.

Bunch of obviously impaired drivers on the road last night coming home from work around midnight. One doing 15mph on Rt 41, another straddling dotted whites, another hit the curb several times trying to go into the turn lane too early.

Got home and heard breaking glass right as I walked into the garage... some dumbass put his truck on the roof by driving up a tree in the neighbor's yard
