Wife took the boy to the ER today. He's been puking on and off since Wed night. He's dehydrated and can't keep anything down. After about 4 or so hours they admired him, he'll be ther overnight. They have him on an IV with limited liquids and food. Finally fell asleep aroun 8pm after being emotional all day from being hungry and wanting to go home. I will say he's been a real trooper with the Drs and nurses and hasn't complained about his IV, meds, poking & proding and the like. Hate seeing him there though.

Hope everything works out, fingers crossed.

Well, almost 24 years working in Gary, guess it was bound to happen.
Apparently, some upstanding citizens are wacking cars coming out of the mill.
I'm still digging glass off my arm.

Wow... Sorry to hear you had that happen... Makes me think more about putting some cyclone fencing across my windows with the people we have to live around these days...

but.. but s.d is ffffaaaarrrr :)
Been reading up on some places in Kansas as well as right next door in Colorado. I'm debating going via a "hunting company" vs doing it alone.
Granted I can see a few of us on INGO doing this as a "group outing". Need to do some more reading next month,

Jedi, I don't think SD is markedly farther than KS or CO.

Of course. Now it's friggin raining.

The perfect end of the day.
Gotta go put plastic over the windshield to try to keep the water out.

It was raining cats & dogs. I was driving home at 1:30am from CP. Nothing but hazard lights and people that can't see their lane so they drove in 2. Hopefully someone like https://www.safelite.com/ can get out and take care of that asap.

Yes, I was so happy waiting for GPD to show up.
No gun, cause even the mill parking lot is a no-gun zone.
360 degree eyes to make sure they weren't going to follow it up with a robbery.

I've heard tale of some people carrying anyway, but I would never violate company policy.
