I didn't see much of anything at Richard's except for a couple of things. I got some tank tops for $1.49 ea. and some $15 boxes of Gloria Jean's K-Cups for $4.99 ea.

Bailey's, on the other hand... filled up the Jeep with groceries, a few odds and ends, and a couple of small pieces of furniture.
Do you remember the old Fetla's in Valpo?

The tree stump I am trying to burn out is still smoldering out in the yard, 36 hours + now.

My plan, after it finally cools down (Sunday) will be to take a chainsaw and cut grooves down into it from the top, soak it with more diesel + some use motor oil and set it on fire again.

On a different note, does anyone use any of the internet phone services for the house phone?

I was going to drop AT&T and switch only to my cellphone but decided, for several reasons, I wanted to keep a real phone number. So I am looking at Ooma and Vonage.

Ooma has some of the computer magazines saying their call quality is best.

Vonage has all the hype and advertising.

    Anyone use either of these?

Fetlas... Gun Lay-Away! I miss that place.
Oh and while you are buying your gun, you could find ammo, baby food, and a new pair of pants, all in the same isle.
and one of those cool Mexican hoodie things, whatever they are called - to wear riding your go-kart. :yesway:

They did have go carts too didn't they? Let's face it, they had everything.

I seem to remember a black bear in a cage out in front of the store when I was a kid as well. Though I can find nobody to confirm that. Do any of you remember a bear?

I heard they were turning Fetlas into some kind of badass gun range but Im not sure where, or if that was true. I remember I used to love going there, best flee market with guns ever.

I remember some gigantic dark brown wooden thing with a lot of chainsaw marks out front.
But I can't remember if it was a bear or an indian... :dunno:

To answer your question about the old fetlas, Oportunity Enterprises just sold the building and a lumber/building supply will be opening in the future there.

    I have one of these
    http://www.amazon.com/OBi100-Telephone-Adapter-Service-Bridge/dp/B004LO098O

Very bare bones, about 40 for the unit, a 20 cost to transfer my home number to Google voice, and I have not paid for home phone for probably 5 years.
