This is my guess too. Busted some of that stuff when I was on federal grand jury for 18 months. The feds don't get involved in too much computer stuff that would apply to a normal guy in a normal home in a normal situation.

I was at the stop sign at Portage Ave & Samuelson in Portage when the transformer just west of the intersection was struck by lightning about 10:15 am. About 100 feet from me.

Probably some folks without power.

Lightning struck the transformer in front of my house a year or two ago. I was less than 50 feet away when it happened. The transformer turned cherry red and then burst. It was a sight to see, my heart almost skipped a beat

Huge flash and bang - thunder shook my car, no obvious damage. Went by same area 45 minutes later and nothing going on.

My thought as well. However, my wife doesn't recall seeing anyone in shackles or any computer stuff getting hauled out of the house. Of course, it's possible that she may have missed it.

What my takeaway from that is that you consider Jedi a friend.
