$$$$ ouch - but worth it. Find a guy will a ladder rack maybe...Today's problem though is that I may need to find a truck or trailer to haul a 22' beam. I'll talk to my contractor tomorrow to see if he'll do it.
I keep waffling. Already did a build with the 1st run.Anyone else getting an INGO lower?
That's what he's doing. Temps haven't been cold enough for the ground to freeze, there's a lot of heat in the ground. After he casts the concrete he'll put blankets over it until at least Monday.Concrete is OK below freezing if you blanket or straw before the pour.
Along as there os no freezing or frost in the ground.
Add chloride to the mix and it will set if the temp is above 20⁰.
Then blanket or stwaw it to keep it from it from freezing for a couple of days.
It's a steel beam. The lumber is coming from Hobart Lumber.@Doug28450 just have Hobart lumber deliver it? Or are you doing steel?
Well he is using a 22' beam for his cross section so a typical golf cart is just under 4' wide so he has 5 carts wide and that still gives him a little room to maneuver them into place. Assuming the beam is centered to hold 12' joists, that is 24' deep. Golf carts are roughly 7.5 feet long, so 3 carts deep. How many golf carts with it house
Better make it bigger. The neighbor has 16 golf carts.Well he is using a 22' beam for his cross section so a typical golf cart is just under 4' wide so he has 5 carts wide and that still gives him a little room to maneuver them into place. 3 deep by 5 wide. Garage will hold 15 golf carts.
By Hobart standards that seems about average.
