For real though that barndo is sick... That's what we want to do here in the next few years but if home values stay high I might have to let this place go and find another plot of land..

Also, can someone explain lake village for me? Like how in the hell do you have an entire town with buildings and such, and it's almost all abandoned? Like these buildings are ooollddd... How did they justify the building of them way back when when traveling was impossible yet now when you can travel quickly they are shuttered..?

Because they got bypassed by the “new” us41 and then us 41 got bypassed by i65…. Now just a bunch of ghost towns along old 41 and us41…….

also back in the day you didn’t travel for Walmart 45 minutes away everything was in town a hardware store grocery mail etc etc in every single town

    Definition of "Handy man's dream"

Probably take 10 hours of pressure washing to see what else needs fixed.

    "home has beautiful bones"

Meaning the structure is solid but it needs to be torn down to studs to rid the boomer smell
OMG boomer smell. When I bought my house in 2004, it smelled like smoke and old people. The owners were my neighbors , both lifetime smokers in their 70's. It took me close to a year to get the smell out. Lots of candles and open windows.

What everyone over 45 needs is this type of soap to avoid that "old age smell".

More info here on why one gets that "old age smell" and even when old folks shower/bath with western soap you can still smell it.

The Japanese figured it out years ago.
