    So just wondering, if a county DA can file charges against a former President, can a State Attorney General file charges against the governor of another state?
    No. Jurisdiction issue. State crimes must be prosecuted in the jurisdiction where they occurred. The crimes alleged by the DA in Georgia allegedly occurred in that county in Georgia. Former President is irrelevant.

    The DoJ could go after her, but fat chance of that one. The West Wing WOKE Minions are cheering her onward as the trial balloon for a National Health Emergency suspending 2A protections. My crystal ball predicts House Hearings about it in the very near future. I'd love to see her subpoenaed to appear before a House Committee to 'splain her Executive Order.

    Mr. Uballez,​
    New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham on Friday issued an emergency public health order that suspends the open and permitted concealed carry of firearms. This action, reportedly implemented as an Executive Order under New Mexico law, is an affront to the Constitution of the United States of America.​
    As an American Citizen (who pays your wages) I expect the representative of the Attorney General of the United States in New Mexico to immediately charge Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham with Deprivation of Rights under color of law, Section 242 of Title 18 of the United States Code.​
    Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham has willfully and knowingly violated the 2nd Amendment Right of all U.S. Citizens residing in or traveling through the area specified in her Executive Order. By doing so she has violated the Preamble to the Bill of Rights prohibition restricting government action which interferes with the exercise of Citizen's Right to bear arms.​
    Should you not understand your duty, I will refer you to Marbury vs. Madison. "All laws which are repugnant to the Constitution are null and void".​
    Each Citizen should have confidence that the Department of Justice primary focus is to ensure that the Bill of Rights Preamble statement "...in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers, that further declaratory and restrictive clauses should be added: ...", is rigorously enforced to ensure compliance with the Constitution by each elected servant who takes an oath to uphold that document. You can start with strict enforcement of the prohibition against the Federal Government acting against the 1st and 2nd Amendments. This extends to State Government actors which violate a Constitutionally guaranteed Right via the 14th Amendment's section 1 which states in part "No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."​
    I write this on September 10th, 2130 hours EST. I fully expect to see Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham perp walked by U.S. Marshals by close of business September 11th 2023. An appropriate day to reinvigorate compliance with the Constitution of the United States of America.​
    Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham's actions are odious, and an affront to every American Citizen. Failure of the Federal Government to perform one of its most fundamental duties will only further undermine Citizens confidence in the Federal Government."​

    I'm sure the NRA will be on top of this like they were the pistol brace ban.......in about six months. Lifetime member and still pissed off about how they dealt with the brace ban.

    What is shocking about how the NRA dealt with the pistol brace thing? We neutered them and now are complaining that they cannot take care of business? Just read every thread that the NRA comes up here and you will see it. Probably a bunch of incoming posts about suits and other unimportant BS the left sold members to get them to dismantle the NRA, and dismantle they did…

    So how n my any have not complied and been arrested and jailed so far? Good way to make a million $ in a wrongful arrest. Think there would be guys carrying signs they are still carrying to make some good money.
