Needing Garand advice dead trigger

I haven’t made it to the range yet. The heat and work have made it difficult. I will post an update when I test out the Garand. Thanks for everyone‘s help and sorry about the delay.

I haven’t tested it yet. I have a little time available Sunday and definitely a range trip scheduled for July 4th. Summers are really busy for some reason. I will definitely let you know.

Update! With the new trigger guard and old stock the rifle functions 100%. I put the new stock on and the bolt is dragging so bad I didn’t fire it. For now I will use the old stock for shooting and the new one for display. I plan to work with the new stock over the July 4th holiday.

Check for the op rod dragging on the new stock. It seems a common issue on the current production stocks.
