If you were wanting the upper / lower to match by all Spikes, one option would be to trade off the lower if you haven't already gotten it engraved.

Upper and lower don't have to match. If I was going with a BCM upper, I would probably make the lower all Spike's. I'm digging their enhanced LPK.

Spikes 10.5"/SAR rail = cool and sexy

BCM 11.5"/LaRue rail = ****ing bulletproof

Axe yourself this... if you bought the Spikes, would you ever have a pang of guilt over not having bought the BCM you always wanted? If you bought the BCM, would you ever have a pang of guilt over not having bought the Spikes?

You have the $$. Do it right the first time. And if you wanted it all to match, you could just sell your spidey lower and replace it with a BCM4 lower. :)

$950 and well worth it in my opinion, and only $85 more than the bcm...

Oh yea, twice last year Noveske did a special where you buy an upper and you get a free lower. If you still have time to wait on your stamp, you might ant to keep an eye on the free lowers. I sold mine since I already owned one and made $150, that would bring the upper dpwn to $800.

DSG ran a promotion at one time that if you bought a Noveske upper, they gave you a stripped lower for free. (it was a 2nd's run)

I finally found an ad attached to a page of one of the other uppers.

I've got an email in to DSG to confirm.

Ok, I looked on DSG's website and couldn't find this config... but I've been eyeballing this one for a while. They show the complete rifle by default, but you can also buy just the upper.

Click on one of the complete uppers listed in the link:

    NOVESKE UPPER 12.5" CRUSADER W/VIS

    Noveske upper 10.5"CQB

    NOVESKE UPPER 10.5" CQB W/VIS

    FREELOWERPROMO_SMALL_TYPE.jpg

I just clicked on a fourth one and it did not have the same offer. The last time I was on their website, I was pretty sure that all the Noveske Uppers came with them. Maybe the offer changed or the website isn't working. Shoot them an email or call. :ingo:
Noveske said they were factory blemishes and shows that picture...crap we had four or five and they looked very very very good! They would have some minor flaw in the finish so small, if you pointed it out to someone they would think you anal. I'm anal and they looked good to me too!:D

They have a send in you lower for a factory sbr if you buy a upper...I'm not sure if the factory 2nd thing is still going on.
