We went up to Chicago yesterday and I put my butt on a brand new bmw r1250rt and it was pretty wonderful except for the $25,000 part

My brother has a 2010 r1200 and it runs and drives like a new bike.

Don't be afraid of the used market on a BMW RT.
Typically BMW guys are pretty anal.

And they keep up on their maintenance too.

Yeah, the problem is finding them and the distance. I've already spent a stupid amount of time looking at stuff. Only one harley that i would seriously consider, but the wife is still in the Honda/BMW camp...

Yeah, that's what I ran into for my GT, I got that one out of north detroit.
There are usually a bunch in Florida or some such place, I thought about
catching a flight down and just riding back etc.

Any suggestions for a shop to get a set of tires in the Indy area? I’m going to check with the Triumph dealer but wondering if a smaller shop might have better prices.

Where I did live there were two small shops and I did some business with both. I would buy tires off the internet and the one shop would change them out for $40. per tire. The other shop would not do that, only mount tires you bought from him. Jim.
