Been cleaning and tuning on the cb160.. really cleaning up nice. My wife is going to ride it and my granddaughter wants her to take her to school on it. Daughter is here from Oregon this weekend and is stoked about riding it. She has a GN250 she tools around in the zombie filled streets of Portland.. Looking good, but I noticed the RD in the background. If I ever find a good crankcase/crankshaft to replace mine I'll do a resto on my '73 RD350.

I have a 73 RD tank and odds and ends. More RD 250 parts right now that I would love to find a home for.. also a few R5 parts. Its crazy how pricey some of that stuff is now. I thought about going to the scooter show in Portland but still looking after my mom and helping my sister.. not enough hours in the day/week.

I went this summer, not a lot of motorcycle parts, endless bicycle, minibike and cushman style scooters though.
One guy I talked to was from Michigan I believe he said he had 2000 vintage motorcycles lol. Tim's Toyzs as I recall.

Getting parts for this 1974 MX175. Need a stator. It’s all original and even have the title. Hopefully this winter I will finish this.
I also have 2 dt175 motors and I believe a IT175 motor that I need to find a home if you need parts or ?599EC2BE-DC44-45A7-AAF6-293AB6FB52C5.jpeg

I'm wolfing down my breakfast in front of the computer before I jump in the shower to get ready for our funeral mission... made me wonder.

Anyone here on INGO involved with the Indiana Patriot Guard Riders?

We did our Saturday ride around the loop to the east, south and back north, in New Mexico. Stopped at the glider Museum in Moriarty, NM, about 20 miles away. Apparently it’s one of the best places in the state for gliding, and one of the better ones in the country. Learned that the glider altitude record is a paltry 76,124 feet, set in 2018. Surprised it hadn’t been broken since then? Here are some pictures and our favorite road, NM 337 south of Tijeras. That first one looks like a wing with a seat attached. I’d have to go on a major diet and tie a knot in each leg to get in those things, not for the claustrophobic!! Nice curves and hills, and brand new pavement thru the woods with hiking trails all over. Kinda ends out in the flat land desert, so we often just turn around and come back north. I want to ride over to Ft. Summer and see Billy the kids burial place and museum, when it cools off a little. Right now it’s another 80 miles of shimmering desert like in a spaghetti western. A bit warm today, but not bad when you were moving. We try to ride every Saturday, and usually to church. Very little rain out here, and that’s almost always in the evening or night, both inches!!!
