I heard one of the grand rooms was being used for a party/awards for SB County employees at the time. Nothing to do with the facility at all.

Yeah, it looks like the targeted holiday party was for city/county employees.

To me, that says workplace violence, and not in the euphemistic sense. Someone was settling a score.
