I heard that too, unless she meant she actually heard the shots fired and not heard the shots fired on the scanner. Unless i didn't hear the radio part.

You are not alone, apparently the cops in Southern California think it means pancakes or waffles or something else.

Actually, at this point with very little information available, it looks like law enforcement did a superb job. 3 perps dead. Hopefully, they are foreign terrorists and not some local good ol boys.
