A quick read of Gibraltar Coronavirus deaths: 97 total, 53 pre vaccination or within 2 weeks of the start of the original vaccination campaign. Infections have risen recently, but deaths....not so much.
The main difference there is advancements in diagnostics and broadening of the spectrum. I honestly think that the correlation with vaccination is due to the fact that it becomes more noticeable as children get to the age where their shots come into play. It's not necessarily the shots causing it so much as it is, "oh, they're a year old, they should be walking or doing X."
