Funny how the Left comes out and says they want to destroy our way of life and then when they go about doing so people act like they're not making good on exactly what the said they were going to do. Not sure what it'll take for some people to wise up.

They imposed unnecessary restrictions that destroyed businesses and mandated a vax that did more harm than good. They cut back fossil fuel use worldwide, even though we're nowhere ready for using only alternative sources of energy. They are causing the massive inflation hitting pretty much every country with their insane economic policies and somehow there are people thinking it's not being done on purpose? Really?

Tough one here, but I do not believe they made a mistake. They saw an opportunity and grabbed it. They used it, squeezed everything they could from it and even today they are trying to get more from it.

As for the addressing the new reports and how nothing truly worked, the answer is "who knew", they were doing what they could and IF they did not, measured outcomes would have been far worse...that's what they say.

You're absolutely right and that's a problem. Best I can see is to take the House and Senate and eventually the Presidency. Get the insane Leftists out of power and then gut the worthless alphabet agencies that allowed this travesty. Then, hopefully in 2028 we get DeSantis running for Prez and hopefully he remembers and does something about it. Unfortunately you're right that Trump may not be the guy to push on this, but depending on support from his base, who knows?

While not conceding that Trump is somehow in the pocket of BigPharma, do you think the removal of leftists from power and gutting of the alphabet agencies needs to happen sooner rather than later?

Then Trump IS your man to get that ball rolling again. No one having widespread support could possibly be more motivated to do so than Trump, who has been subjected to the worst they have to offer. I concur on DeSantis 2028, but for God's sake, get Trump or whoever runs in 2024 the best help you can in congressional elections up until they come to power. Whether you like it or not, MAGA/America First is the most likely way out of the dilemma we find ourselves in. Vote for true adherents over those who will give lip service. Pin those people down on what they think the most pressing job for them as legislators is, and if they think it is legalizing weed or abolishing the IRS they are a distraction and IMO you should look elsewhere. At this point, even a balanced budget amendment would be tilting at windmills.
