I was a Perry/Walker guy although my beliefs align most with Cruz; I find legislators tend to make inept executives. I need no other examples than the chief executive at the Federal level and the chief executive at the State level.

Here is a fascinating article from Breitbart (I understand they are in the bag for Trump) about Trump and Cruz.

I admit in the end I will push the button for whomever the Republican nominee will be, some of you think that is the problem, but I know the alternative. In my heart I have not voted as a Republican since 2004. As a conservative I voted for the loser in 2008 and 2012. The only argument I need to give for Trump, and even Cruz, is that I/you/we have been fed sh*t sandwiches by a bunch of bed-wetters that roll on their backs and **** on their bellies like beaten dogs every time the Democrats push rhetoric. Big Govt GOP/RNC/(fill in the blank) would rather play kissey face with socialism to stay on control of money/policy whatever.

I am under no illusion that Trump would limit government. For what it’s worth, I am disappointed Cruz has not made it a focal point of his campaign. When Trump is in front of a microphone and a large crowd he is an entertainer, whether that be campaigning or debating (if that is what this is now called). I have seen two interviews with Hannity. The answers to the questions were very promising and Trump seemed genuine. I will vote for Trump. I will vote for Cruz. I will vote for Rubio. If one of those three are not voted for on November 1[SUP]st[/SUP], Hillary Clinton will be the 45[SUP]th[/SUP] individual to hold the office.

She would be the 44th individual. With his two non-consecutive terms, Grover Cleveland was counted twice in the presidential numbering.

    My observations about Trump:

    1. He has tapped into the anger of voters capable of reading and writing full sentences and paragraphs.
    2. The voters that go to work for 8, 10, 12 ,14 hours a day to provide for themselves or their families. Then every 2 weeks see how their pay check was raped by local, state and federal taxes.
    3. Voters that believe if you want more than minimum wage, then acquire more than minimum skills.
    4. Voters that are tired of the "classic" media not telling the truth.
    5. Voters that are tired of elected officials telling out right lies with no consequences.
    6. Voters that are for legal immigration, yet see illegal immigrates flooding our borders. Illegals that DEMAND all of what America can provide once they cross the border.
    7. Voters that see illegal immigrants NOT assimilating into America's cultural fabric. Immigrants that demand drivers licenses, Sharia law, etc. and the politicians that support these ideas and schemes for votes.
    8. Voters that see the evolution of welfare system of helping people when they need help, to generations of families on welfare. This coincides with the decline of any sense of a work ethic.
    9. Voters that do cling to their guns and religion, see a war on both, promoted by politicians that do not have a iota of understanding of the Federalist papers, the Bill of Rights, or the Constitution.
    10. Voters that see all this and more and are beat down by it all and more.

Note, I am not a Trump supporter as I don't care until the nominations are over with. Though I do believe these ten items and more all contribute to his rise.

I am probably more in line with Que about Trump.....I don't know exactly what his candidacy (or Presidency) will mean for the country but I am curious enough to look into it and see....

I will tell you one thing I like about Trump...I have been on INGO since the shop opened in August of 2011 and guys were coming in that I didn't know...I would ask how they heard about the shop and they would say "INGO".....After the third person said that I asked what the hell was an "INGO"? When they told me (thanks littletommy) I felt I should go ahead and sign up out of respect and have been here ever since..

Like a moth to flame I was drawn to the wormhole of the Political forum and was constantly bombarded with folks trashing "establishment" politicians....I found out that due to my pro life stance and my support of traditional marriage that I was apparently not the freedom loving Libertarian I had always thought I was...And here is where the irony comes in.......

The same people who were most vocal about getting a Republican Candidate that wasn't part of the "Establishment" wing...Who wanted a candidate that was more pro choice, wasn't Evangelical, wasn't beholden to the purse strings of the GOP, the lobbyists, the MSM etc....etc....Are now gnashing their teeth over someone who is all of those things....

Be careful what one wishes for ....It may come true and one will be forced to recognize that one doesn't really want change as much as they want to gnash their teeth and complain...

I will say this....Donald Trump is the biggest middle finger to the world, the media, and the establishment that America has ever produced....I am not sure what that means but it does make me smile a bit....

    IMHO.....

People are sick of politicians yet they keep sending the same people to congress over and over. It's never "their" guy that's the problem.

i don't know what we would get in a Trump presidency, and that is somehow more comforting than the others, because we know what to expect. More bull****.

Indy, one thing I think that resonates with people is:

Robio is a good little apparatchik running as a fire-breathing conservative

Cruz is a strong conservative running as someone who is not an idealogue

Trump is just running as Trump. WYSIWYG

    This.

A common Facebook argument in support of Trump that actually makes some sense, A vote for Trump is really a vote for the team he will assemble. Guess it's under the assumption that he will assign cabinet positions based on competence instead of connections.

He's a walking talking testicle in a country where testicles are becoming an endangered species.

Not completely on the Trump bandwagon myself but at least he's fun.

Trump brings some unknowns and uncertainties, but whether or not he's nominated, either of his potential opponents is a known and absolutely 100% unacceptable certainty for me. There's more comfort in Cruz, but I find it immensely entertaining watching the SJWs and other assorted leftrhoids peeing in their garanimals over Trump. I'm thinking of making a bumper sticker along the lines of "Trump, because **** you!" just to be inflammatory.
