It was in slow motion, so it couldn't have hurt that bad. Rub some dirt on it man.I like visuals.
He lived. I see you found the link.
That is one of the hardest hits I've ever seen where the guy lives. If he died, I wouldn't have posted it. I would love to figure out how fast (MPH) that tire is going before impact. I'd try but there's too much thinking involved and math is hard plus it's the weekend and I'm drinking.
I was thinking about thinking a out it, and after I thought about it, I thought, eh, nevermind.I like visuals.

Kinetic energy, given 30 kg and 25 meters/sec, equals 9375 joules.
I estimated about 70mph.
Kinetic energy, given 30 kg and 25 meters/sec, equals 9375 joules.
Average speed, maybe. But at the time of impact I'd say it's more like 8-10 meters/sec. It looks like it lost a lot of speed by the time it started to cross the road. So maybe 960 to 1500 joules. Still, that's a heck of a thing to happen. Wow.
Like I said. That’s an average speed. Not the speed at impact. 170 feet is a good estimate from when the tire is first noticeable to the point of impact. But it slows down noticeably by the time it starts crossing the road. So I thought a more realistic estimate is using the distance crossing the road and the time that took.Well we can calculate the speed. Approximate the distance the wheel travels, and the time it took to get there. Distance is what, about 170ft, over 2-3seconds?
Sweet heart in two seconds I am going to get down on my knee and ask you to ma....
