Well polygamy is still legal within Judaism. However no Jewish man, in his right mind, would want more than one Jewish Mother-in-law....

    I rep'd this for 2 reasons...

    1. It was funny
    2. Not a comment about the gheys

This does not conform to my idea of how society should be socially engineered.
Its a threat to monogamous marriages everywhere.
My religion is against it, therefore, ban it.
I'm totally worried about bestiality gaining popularity.
    Who will build the roads?
    Ban it for the children.

And the uncontrolled sociological experiment continues. Problem is, by the time we find out how bad it screws up society, it's too late...

As it should! America is a huge 237 year old uncontrolled sociological experiment in which crazy concepts like natural rights vested in the citizens not in the soverign, the abolition of government sponsored religion, election of those who govern, checks and balances, human equality, habeus corpus, the primacy of the pursuit of happiness, and the right to bear arms against tyrrany, were all pretty edgy untried things.

Has that experiment screwed up society? The English in 1785 would tell you that it did.

I love my dog. Does this mean we can get married too? I mean dogs are people too, right?

Can you dog sign a contract?

While likely more loyal than some people, they can't really enter into a legal agreement. So, no, you can't "marry" your dog.

Now, what you do behind closed doors really isn't any of our business, though.
