Absolutely, The official name is the Democrat Party. There is nothing democratic about them.

ETA I just googled it and according to their search engine it has always been Democratic party. In the age of google Winston Smith's Job is much easier than it used to be. He no longer has to vaporize the old written text, just revise the links.
