Looks like Iran backed down.
A few US Aircraft carriers in the region seems to have settled things down for now, plus the threat that Israel was going to blow up their nuclear enrichment plants, and they also know Israeli Mossad can reach any of them anywhere.

Fairly interesting story.
I was in boot, Great lakes, June 75.
On base was a company of Iranian sailors...junior officers...we were told that they were 2nd sons of royalty. Now this was still under the shah.
These guys could march! Looked absolutely stunning on the parade grounds. However they wore so much cologne they smells like a French whore house!
The rumors on base were that if any of them stepped outta line, for whatever reason, they were sent back to Iran and executed!
