This will be our 4th iPhone (3 for me and 1 for my wife)
    iPad 2 with Bluetooth keyboard
    Mac mini with USB keyboard
    Time capsule
    Airport express

    I like my Apple stuff.

Ack, hold the phones. We actually have something in common. :D

Love everything about my desktop, iPad, and 4S (which is only 2 weeks old to me but already more functional and user friendly than the POS Samsung I had before). I am a convert, and short of Apple going belly up, I'm not going back.

Ummm no it didn't last all day, maybe on minimal use but I couldn't get 5 hours out of either 4S and that was after turning all kinds of stuff off. I had literally every iPhone and was doing good to get through an 8 hour day at the office before needing to charge or it was dead.
The 4S will read 4G around here. I have several friends with them, they all say 4G around here not 3G. There's been several article's from various sources that talk about it and how AT&T considers their 3G HSPA+ to be 4G and the phone indicates such. Thanks

I'll add that after several phone calls and a couple hours on tech support total I had been on a pre-release to updates that were supposed to "fix" issues. The 4G indication was from an update
So wait, you are on the crapiest carrier that has the iPhone and you're blaming the iPhone THAT ISN'T MADE TO HANDLE A 4G SIGNAL because your carrier is screwing up? That makes total sense. The iPhone 4S literally CAN NOT carry a 4G signal. Sounds like you should be talking to AT&T and not whining about APPLE.

ALSO, you can't get a 8 hour day out of an iPhone? Were you streaming porn constantly or something? I have NEVER had any problems with battery life out of my 3 iPhones. Now, my Droid X on the other hand, would get extremely hot during use, and the battery would MAYBE last an 8 hour work day.

No offense you can't comprehend what you read and you don't know wtf you're talking about. Look I probably have more Mac **** than you will ever had and I was hacking iPhones long before a one click jailbreak where you actually had to type in and change code. But apparently you are a power user capable of squeezing 5lbs of **** out a 2lb sack. Another INGO elite that spends too much time in the bump my Rep threads.

Let's see another failure to read. I wasn't the one that stated it was 4G. Someone else did. My post back on pg 3 stated 3G but I guess you both missed it. Oh well that wasn't even my complaint, the 4S had issues and don't even try to deny it did. I went through two and countless hours on the phone with apple because neither phone would last longer than 5-6 hours. I even had it sit there one day never actually unlocking it just to view the battery meter and the phone literally showed 2 1/2hours use after 5 hours and never being off the lock screen with most everything disabled, off, or manual. My reference to 4G was a response to.someone else claiming 4G and the iPhone 4S does now show 4G. I had that update pre-release. So you can take your little BS party and go somewhere else with it.

Solitaire runs the battery down rather quickly.

The reason I switched from iPhone to Droid is because when reading, my iPhone would not condense the text to the size of the screen so I had to continual scroll back and forth with my thumb to read anything. If you read a lot on your phone this will reek havoc on your thumbs. Also my Droid will post YouTube vids pretty much straight thru without much buffering at all. My iPhone was pretty useless for watching vids as you had to wait 30 min to play a 5 minute vid. That makes those features worthless to me.
So if these two things have changed I would go back to an iPhone prolly. Or maybe someone could tell me what I was doing wrong???

I have an Iphone and an Ipod. I bought the Ipod (used) only because my car had the adapter for the Ipod because the cd changer was messed up.

I only have an Iphone because work gave it to me. Otherwise I would have the cheapest phone I could get. I don't use my phone for anything other then calls and texts.

My iPhone 5 is in transit from Nashville to Indy right now!:rockwoot:

Can't wait for Friday to get my latest Apple fix...and to see what this new screen size is all about. I'm working on a new iPhone app UI design that may have to change based on the new screen hight. We'll see...

If you pre-ordered your iPhone, you can get the tracking info on ups.com, even if Apple hasn't given you a tracking number yet. Just go to Track with Reference Number on the UPS site and use your phone number as the reference number.

I'm typing this on a new Retina MBP which is hands down the best laptop I have ever used.

Id like to get it but not eligible. as I got the 4s the day it released. they said sure u can get it 250.00 + the price of the phone + 36 activation fee. I said yeah right. i know when the 4s came out they allowed early adopters of the 4 to upgrade without the 250 fee as long as a 2 yr contract is signed

I pre-ordered my 5 with 64GB of storage. I'm on Verizon and love the coverage, but their 3G network is rough to use when downloading voicemails emailed to me. The 4G will make me more productive and will pay for itself within a month even though I'm paying full price for it and not getting a discount.
