it's not that don't think she's honest or trustworthy, just that sanders edges her out a bit I'm sure.

83% vs 10% and you're saying he just "edges" her out? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

No, it's that democrats are mostly malicious psychopaths, obsessed with seeing the country burn. Just look at how well they did in Baltimore. This is the ONLY rational reason why someone would vote for an individual under FBI investigation for what amounts to ESPIONAGE!

There's a new wave of younger voters in the democrat party that aren't obsessed with the destruction of the country, they're just misguided. The overwhelming super majority of them voted for Bernie.

No, what I mean is if 83% think Bernie is 100% trustworthy and Hillary is 99% trustworthy, you could have this result.

now, I don't believe that, just offering an explanation

They don't care about her transgressions nor our country and many lack the moral compass that some of us take for granted.

Everyone laughed or ridiculed Trump when he said he could shoot someone on 5th Ave. and still get votes. Hillary could go Full Metal Jacket with an evil black assault rifle on live TV and these people would still vote for her.

Come on Bernie! The only thing that can make this night better is Hillary Clinton losing, then going into Lawyer Mode.

I just read that the dems are saying 90 precincts of their votes are missing....this may not be over yet...she is teflon though

Exactly what we need. Controversy on the Democrat side...followed by young Democrats thinking, "Gee, Bernie almost won...and if we'd just turned out more, we would have put him over the top!"

It's because clearly no one is comparing him to Jesus Christ, he doesn't need to take a moment to point out to everyone he isn't Jesus Christ.

On the whole Rubio/Jesus issue, this may come as a shock, but not every religious exhortation by a politician is sincere. Maybe Rubio just doesn't pull it off well, but his Jesus comment didn't sound sincere to me. It sounded like he was looking for an opening to get another from his checklist of focus group tested phrases in. He sounded like a politician to me. So does Cruz. I forgive them for that. I don't forgive Rubio for being just a notch less than the fatass pussbag on the authoritarian scale. I guess I'm going to start calling him the skinnyass douchebag.

I know this won't go down well here, but I have a very uneasy feeling about the momentum Rubio is gaining. He's going to be all the buzz this week.

It's heartwarming to see the Democrats equally torn between a dislikeable liar and a nutcase socialist.

Think about where [STRIKE]Rubio's[/STRIKE] the skinnyass douchebag's votes likely came from. All the establishment candidates under-performed the polls except for Rubio. My guess is that Rubio's success came mostly from 3 places: the other establishment candidates; the people who couldn't previously decide which establishment candidate to support; and I imagine the rest from trump and the other under-performing candidates.

My take-away is that in Iowa the establishment rallied around a single candidate: [STRIKE]Rubio[/STRIKE] the skinnyass douchebag. But overall the establishment lost pretty big. Good for Iowa. I am concerned that the press will play up the little douchebag and the significance of his surge. And I think as time goes on and other candidates drop out, people might start fearing the "electability" issue and start to like the little ***** authoritarian.

The political discussion I had with my BIL over the holidays rendered an exceptional opportunity to peer into the psyche of at least one [STRIKE]avid[/STRIKE] rabid Hillary supporter. According to him, Bernie is more trustworthy and honest, but he doesn't have the skillset to lead the country. We need someone like Hillary to lead America in the right direction. Plus, America needs to elect the first woman president (apparently vagina's make a candidate more POTUS qualified somehow). So there's that.

And the email scandal? He says that's just [STRIKE]the Republicans and Fox News trying to discredit her just like with Benghazi[/STRIKE] a vast right wing conspiracy.

The betting odds (I didn't know these exist) have Rubio at 50% to get the nomination (up from 25%). Trump is down 16% to 25%, and Cruz is down to 9%.

Apparently this was huge for Rubio, and the money and endorsements he's going to get from this are set to put him way ahead of Cruz.

I'm fine with this. Cruz and Rubio are both decent choices in my book, and it's going to be one of them. I think Rubio has the best chance to beat Clinton/Sanders... slightly better than Cruz... but Cruz should be able to pull it off, too.

Edit: Ouch, Trump's own city going after him now.

Cruz overperforms the polls by 4%, easily wins Iowa, and he's down 9% in the betting odds? WTF? If I were a betting man...
