The precincts not in yet tend to lean toward Clinton.

    91% in, still practically tied.

I laughed out loud when John King just said "someone on twitter is telling us it's a drinking game every time I say 'Polk County', well, load up folks"

Clinton back up to a 0.9% lead with 94% of precincts reporting, 50.2/49.3.

Cruz got the most votes of any candidate ever in the Iowa caucus, set record. Biggest turnout ever.

At least when Cruz says 'God bless the people of Iowa' he makes you somewhat believe it. When Rubio says it you get the feeling it's because the phrase tested 88% positive the with the 63% of likely the Republican Republican Voters who self identified as Evangelical.

Nah...I've heard Rubio speak about his faith. He means it.

As a person that's not religious... I have no idea where you're coming from with this stuff.

They both sound like they're doing just fine at pandering to a certain audience. Cruz preaches... a lot... Rubio is pretty low-key, gracious with it. Rubio sounds a lot less rehearsed and scripted, and Cruz sounds very forced and drone-y. Like 'em both myself... but the religious part of it seems indistinguishable.

Cruz is definitely a success story. Very grassroots, built and backed from the Tea Party... he's gotten very far.

Normally don't watch CNN, but had them on a second screen. It's interesting to hear their reporters take every little stab at Cruz they could get in. Hated by fellow senators, wife's Goldman Sachs controversy, lost the debate, etc, etc...

And of course, CNN breaks away from winner Ted speaking to go to tied Hillary claiming victory.

I've heard people that know Cruz on a personal level and this sort of rehearsed/scripted sound a lot of people complain about is just the way he is. It's just his verbal mannerisms.

I like when he forgets for a split second if he's supposed to smile or not. (oh **** what'd they tell me to do?????)

And it probably is. He talks very much like a politician, if that makes sense. He sounds like one. Not really a bad thing, just different demeanors I guess

It's better than FOX or MSNBC, not that that's worth anything.

I agree. In a sound bite world rather than apptitude world, this will be his hurdle to overcome.
