HB 1071 has been assigned to the Senate Judiciary committee, chaired by Sen. Bray. Their first meeting is scheduled for 3/8, and 1071 is not on the agenda for that day. I don't say that as a condemnation of Sen. Bray; he's hearing two "gun bills" already that day, and may simply have decided not to make the meeting drag out too long. I don't know this, but it's as logical a reason as any other. Nonetheless, please write to him and request that he hear HB 1071 in committee. It's not going anywhere without that.
