Smoke and mirrors my friend, you forget British Royal Enfield plant shut down around 1970, The Enfields made then in India were under contract not built by
Young pups.
Royal Enfield made their first bike in 1901 and hasn't stopped since.
Have a good ride, I took one down i69 earlier down to see the girl at the blackjack tournament at the casino.Riding an Indian at daybreak.
Yet the Indian is built in America.Smoke and mirrors my friend, you forget British Royal Enfield plant shut down around 1970, The Enfields made then in India were under contract not built by
Royal Enfield. Its just another reserection with stories like Indian so folks will believe its really a British Motorcycle, but in reality its a built in India motorcycle.
Plus its not built here, in the good old USA by Union workers.
That is true my friend. And thats a good thing.Yet the Indian is built in America.
That is true my friend. And thats a good thing.
I caught it as a young kid, Its never left. All aside, there is not much like riding a back road or a highway or anything else on a motorcycle.
Most folks in the population of the States have not experienced anything close to it, but riding in the open air, smelling the smells, feeling the road, moving with it all is not much like anything else on a road.
Some appreciate it. Some don't. Some never experience it at all.
Could be he was a moderator on ingo?
We did 70 miles today before it got too hot at 95 degrees. Made a big loop around South Mountain where there’s a mile of 15 percent grade where you can see out over a huge valley, was on scenic Route 66 for a while, which is about 4 miles from our house. 3/4ths of New Mexico’s roads are non paved and most of them end up on the side of a mountain in somebody’s driveway at a 45 degree angle. I had the V65 and wife on her Spyder. Been riding since I was 14. 52 years and my wife on her own bike since about 1982. Couple of weeks it should start cooling off and be great riding weather up into mid December.I caught it as a young kid, Its never left.
I have always enjoyed riding as well for all those reasons above. The sensation of leaning into a turn, the quickness and nimbleness of riding are hard to beat. All aside, there is not much like riding a back road or a highway or anything else on a motorcycle.

As is Honda and Bombardier.Harley Davidson goes woke?!
There are some brands strongly identified with America, with American values and ideals and with American design and quality. They’re known and coveted around the world, prestige symbols here and abroad. That’s why it’s so dumbfound...www.americanthinker.com

It could happen, it certainly will not be the first company to ride that road. They just flushed over 100 years of prestige down the crapper with the decision to make ANY HarleyDavidson outside of America.
You are not going to wash that stink off of the brand.
And when the rubber meets the road... and they lose more sales they WILL outsource their higher dollar machines to the lady boys.
Goodbye Milwaukee workers, it's been grand.
As is what? Woke? I’m not sure what you’re referring to. I’m sure Bombardier is woke as all get out, it’s Canadian after all. They might deport me to the UK just for thinking that!!As is Honda and Bombardier.
Yes woke, All of mine but one have kick starters on them.As is what? Woke? I’m not sure what you’re referring to. I’m sure Bombardier is woke as all get out, it’s Canadian after all. They might deport me to the UK just for thinking that!!
That article is just one guys’ opinion. He could be completely wrong for all I know? But, it seemed like it fit with the topic. The author is the guy that writes all the firearm articles on AT. He strongly disagrees with open carry, which I disagree with him on. And most of his firearm articles have at least one comment that leaves me scratching my head.
Had a couple of late 70’s KZ750 and 1000s that had kick starters. Did a quick search and came up with 1986 was the last year HD put a kickstarter on a bike and 1987 was the last year for Kawasaki. But, I have no idea how accurate that is. I haven’t seen one or owned a bike with one in many years.
FIFYSome forget that Harley Davidson has been a pawn of a multi national company for 90 years or so now.
