While I acknowledge that this site is the property of Fenway and subject to his rules, etc. A lot of people are invested in this site, financially (to a very small degree), intellectually and emotionally. We have our little cliques and an attachment to both the people and the forum. So it frustrates me when representatives when commenting re: this situation, make remarks about the "same old whining" and that "you can't make everyone happy". This particular situation goes a little beyond that. My hope is that word of this will rise to the top and that, perhaps, cooler heads will look at this and find a remedy that will be palatable for everyone. I have no personal issue with Que. I like the guy. If a mod was going to be replaced he wouldn't be my first choice. Some people, while great members of the forum, do not have the personality traits that a good moderator needs. I probably don't either. Better to figure it out, fix it, and let's move on before we lose any more good members.

Guys, I have an idea how all of this got started and it needs to end. Just know that my actions were an attempt to help keep INGO a fun and welcoming place, but I believe I've made the job harder for the other staff and less enjoyable for some members. I am not sure what the other questions are, but none of the other staff had anything to do with what recently occurred. I tried to be an active member on the board and moderate, but I guess things got screwed up. So, it's time to get things right.

This is all very unfortunate. I am sorry it turned out this way. Not the mod I would want to step down. Que you're a very good man who, like all of us, occasionally makes a misstep. I hope you reconsider. If not, I thank you for the countless hours you have undoubtedly contributed to this forum. I look forward to seeing you in person again. I also hope you will still be a frequent contributor here.
