So, my take is this- had Trump not been president, he probably would not hesitate to sue her for violation of the non-disclosure and to fight her as long as it took.

However, he IS president and fighting a legal battle to keep her quiet, or punishing her for talking, would keep this in the public eye longer than it otherwise would be and, well, it just looks bad and the protracted fight would have the effect of tacitly confirming her story.

Optics change when you are the president.

Ok. So our President may or may not have had consensual sex with a porn star over 10 years ago. Giving what former President Bill has done seems like not a big deal. Alleged forced sex, sequestering testimony, etc. If it did happen, when he was a private citizen, isn't that between him and Melania? I guess I'm sick and tired of the hypocrisy from the left. I'm not saying it's right, but geez how quickly they forget about the exploits of the society of the left(Hollywood, Bill Clinton, etc.) Ms. Daniels admittedly had sex with the Donald for possible financial gain( according to the 60 minute interview). So had she gained what she was after this wouldn't be coming to light?

I don't like the society this country has become but the double standard is getting to be too much. I get the impression had the sex produced the results she was promised/hoped for we wouldn't be hearing about it.

I have a Daughter so I hate all of this, but the Clintons set the bar on exploitation/cover up. Lest we forget. Probably a dupe.

A large portion of her corrupt deeds were done while in office.

And being a lawyer, it's pretty easy to call out her practice of the law, as that directly relates to what she would do in office because of how she perceives the law.

If she slept with another woman, I really couldn't care less. In fact, I'd rather not know, I do not want my imagination running amok.

For me, Mr. Trump is super rich and famous. He is surrounded by women who would love to be with a man who is rich and famous. Women who would literally sell their soul to be "on the arm" of these men. It is easy to see how he had such a cavalier attitude towards the women, how he was corrupted along the way.

It doesn't give him a pass, since "forsaking all others" is a huge part of marriage (unless they didn't commit to that...), but it shines a light into his behavior that can't be dismissed with the label of a misogynistic serial sexaholic.
