I have noticed that in all the pictures I've seen of the picket lines, I haven't seen a single recognizable "actor". So the "actors" don't really care, except when they're nominated for a SAG award I guess...
Wasn't it the writers on strike, not the actors?

Could be. I thought it was the "Screen Actors Guild" which I thought would encompass the actors too, but I really don't know. Still, you would think they'd show some solidarity if they really gave a crap.

Just googled it. Heck they’ve been striking for months! It’s not the big actors picketing. They’ve got theirs.

Ah. I guess they haven't talked much about them. I heard some stuff about the writers. They had shows stopped. Apparently the others aren't missed as much
The writers are why Fallen and company were off the air and are now back, those shows have no actors.

This is a perfect examp,e of where AI would be great. Hell most movies now days use a tremendous amount of CGI anyway. Fire actors, use AI, come up with actual good stories, instead of unrealistic and obviously fake special effects

I know of no one that gives a ****…
I do. But only because I want my daughter to be successful in her chosen profession. She can't do that because her union won't let her work because the poor writers and then the destitute actors are on strike. There are so many goddamned unions involved in any kind of filming, none of which work if even a single one strikes, that it's a miracle any movie or TV show ever gets aired. **** unions.

Interesting that you say that. AI use, current and future, is a major sticking point in negotiations.
