I want you to imagine an alternate reality...

One where cops and proud boys surrounded the court house for the entire trial, constantly demanding that Chauvin got released with no charges. After a year of police and proud boys rioting around the country and burning down low income housing, and murdering people. And then Ted Cruz flies out, and tells the crowd that they need to get more confrontational if Chauvin didn't walk.

How do you think the media and your average leftie would react?
    Have to imagine it.

No Republican politician has Maxine Waters' balls.

The riots last night were mainly in Brooklyn Center, a suburb north of Minneapolis proper.
They seem to be focused around Daunte Wright and not George Floyd. 79 arrested.
I really don’t understand protesting that at all. It’s retarded. There is no grand racial component to that story. He’s a bad dude. Had warrants. They were trying to take him in custody. He tried to get away. Get back in his car. The officer pulled the Glock instead of the taser. She made a mistake. She’s facing charges. I’m not all that sure that she should be. To me this looks like a wrongful death. Get a big payout from the city, and of course sue the cop for every cent she has. A crime? No.

    Checked my news feed....no riots.

    MSM suppressing?
Give it time. We didn't say 'they will riot the next day by 3 pm'

Now do 'Biden isn't coming for your guns'

Curious to see if you can do strict interpretation when it is the left/democrats being evaluated. Were we wrong about that because we didn't correctly specify the exact day?

Wait... no looting, no riots? I was told there would be looting an rioting regardless of the outcome. What happened? :dunno:
They moved the riots to a suburb just north of there. Only 79 mob members arrested Tuesday night though so really kind of low key, just a fire, throwing stuff and of course rapping.

Some of the more vocal INGO voices believe things based on partial truth.

Believe with a religious fervor. My way or the highway. Questioning or Nonacceptance of that belief is not welcome. And disagreement?? Well...Watch how new members who don't tow the line are treated...mods are continually warning in thread.

When I was younger it was the my country, love it or leave it crowd. Members of that group don't seem to be leaving now. But they don't seem to be loving it.
Ahhh, the "love it or leave it" crowd ought to leave huh? And what, just turn the country over to socialists, illegals, and ghetto rats? Why in the world would anyone do that?

Already seeing people interviewed on the news saying that this wasn't "justice". This was just "accountability". They will never be satisfied.
Ummm....Isn't holding people accountable for their actions justice?

That's because we love the country so don't need to leave. It is the 'America is systemically racist/ hegemonist/ evil colonizers' people that need to go

Have you forgotten that a real conservative wants to retain what was good about the past, or what worked, while being cautious to embrace change - especially change for the sake of change with no record of accomplishment?

I agree - too bad that doesn't matter at all.

So it's just normal to stand by the street trying to kill each other...

If we were to go on a case by case basis (as it should be) so far this and the Floyd incident that democrats and protestors are holding up as examples of "systemic racism" don't pass muster.
