I'm all for jumping on the "down with the bourgeoisie scum" bandwagon, but maybe it's time to let Longbow's lawyer talk. The comments are politely written so far but it seems like this is getting dangerously close to a Facebook version of a forum invasion.

Just got home from work. Checking up. 2 posts are still there according to my facebook. I flagged some Craigslist ads last night before I left. They're gone.

I agree with the first part of the contract is written to say that no weapons may be kept in a way that threatens or alarms others. However, viii states that no explosives, fireworks, or "dangerous item" may be kept on the premises. IMHO, that is what they will try to fall back on. We all know that firearms are dangerous items to all the sheeple.

    You all are priceless!

I do think some lucky person got to do the edits from the smart phone. I noticed the story made it to the GD of AR.15. Did anyone see it posted anyplace else?

This type of thing really ticks me off. But are you really surprised? It IS Bloomington! I'm surprised we don't read more anti-gun stuff coming out of Bloomington on here. I lived there for about 15 years and its liberal environment was a big reason for me moving my family out of there. Gun supporters are hopelessly out numbered there!
Yes and the Scumbag Socialist Profs are poisoning our children while knocking down big bucks-Paid by Indiana taxpayers!!

I would ask my son to do a complete inventory of all his possessions that he had in his apartment. It wouldn't surprise me if something valuable came up missing from an illegal search.

Id file a police report that the $200 in cash that was in the rifle case as well is missing and whoever did the search must have stolen it.

WOW, people here are quick to act without hearing both sides of the story. Attack Bradford Place without hearing their side. Next time I need to flame someone, I will keep that in mind.

So far, we have not, to the best of my knowledge, even heard from the gun owner.

We have only heard from someone who apparently has heard from someone what happened. That is not PC for anything legally.

It may be enough for you all to attack, but I will join in the attack when I have heard at least one side of the story firsthand.

I agree that if what the tenant's dad says happened is what indeed happened, it is inexcusable and inappropriate.

However, I do know that teenagers (or early 20's) do not always tell their parents the whole story. Especially their parents. Grown men even refuse to enter guilty pleas while their moms are in the room because they don't want to admit anything in front of their parents.

I believe we've heard quite a bit of the other side of the story. We've got a contract, a recorded conversation with the property management company's regional manager, a letter from their chief council, all in addition to longbow's recount of conversations he's had with them. We'll never hear their story firsthand unless we're involved in the depositions or are in the courtroom.

Good point. I forgot about all of that. I was just concerned about whether or not the tenant had been sitting on the back porch with his AR.
